On April 27, 2026, Adlanter will have a prominent presence at Immigration Day 2026, an international event organized by Envoy Global that will bring together experts in corporate immigration and global mobility at the historic Mediterranean Conference Centre in Malta.

During the event, Jordi Roca, Director of International Mobility at Adlanter, will participate as a speaker in the session “Dual Representation – Who is the Client?”, a key debate in this year’s agenda focused on duty of care and the responsibilities of companies and advisors in international mobility processes.

The session, which corresponds to Session 3 of the program, will be moderated by Fiona Wong (Gilton Valeo) and will bring together experts from different jurisdictions to analyse the current challenges in managing international workers.

What will we discuss in “Dual Representation – Who is the Client?”

International mobility now takes place in an increasingly complex environment, where companies, legal advisors and relocated professionals interact in immigration processes that require clarity, transparency and responsibility.

In this context, the session will address a fundamental question: who is the real client when multiple stakeholders are involved in an immigration process? Among the topics that will be discussed are:

  • The balance between the interests of the relocated employee and those of the sponsoring company.
  • Transparency and accountability at every stage of the immigration process.
  • How to ensure a fair, ethical and efficient experience for all parties involved.
  • The impact of increasingly complex immigration regulations on international talent management.

This debate is directly linked to one of the major challenges in the sector: properly managing dual representation, a common situation in which mobility specialists must represent both the company and the employee simultaneously and coordinate their interests.

What is duty of care?

In this edition, another central topic will be duty of care, meaning the responsibility companies have to ensure the safety, wellbeing and proper administrative management of their employees when they work or relocate to another country.

Participating in international forums like this allows professionals to analyse different regulatory approaches and contribute to defining best practices in the sector.

A key event for the international mobility sector

Adlanter’s participation in Envoy Global’s Immigration Day 2026 will take place just before another major industry event: the EuRA International Relocation Congress 2026, which will also be held in Malta from April 27 to 30 at the Hilton Portomaso in St. Julians.

The EuRA Conference is one of the most important events worldwide in the field of international relocation and corporate mobility, bringing together hundreds of professionals, companies and experts each year to share knowledge, trends and best practices.

For Adlanter, being present at these events represents a strategic opportunity for:

  • Excellence in international mobility.
  • Collaboration with leading industry associations.
  • Active participation in the discussions that will shape the future of labour migration and corporate relocation.

Adlanter’s commitment to international mobility

Jordi Roca’s participation in the session “Dual Representation – Who is the Client?” and Adlanter’s presence at key industry events reinforce the firm’s role as a relevant player within the international mobility and talent ecosystem.

At Adlanter, we will continue sharing the most relevant insights, trends and reflections from these international meetings to help companies and professionals successfully manage their global mobility processes.
